Origin: Vineyards situated partly in the territory of the town of Controguerra and partly in that of the town of Torano Nuovo, 310 metres above sea level.

Subsoil composition: Medium mix soil tending to clayey.

Grape varieties: Organic grapes, 100% Montepulciano.

Vineyard characteristics: GDC grown vineyard that has bed readjusted over the years to comply with new productive and qualitative requirements to 1250 plants per hectare, planting year 1978.
Oriented partly eastwards and partly southwards.

Vintage and vinification: Grapes are picked, after careful selection, after the first ten days in October. Grapes are stripped, pressed very gently, and the resulting must is left to ferment in thermoconditioned stainless steel tanks keeping fermentation temperature between 18° and 20°C.

Organoleptic Characteristics: Colour: reminds cherries, shiny, brilliant.

Aroma: Intensely fruity, distinct, characteristic and persistent.

Flavour: Dry, fresh, with good taste persistence with distinctive and sophisticated notes.

Gastronomy: Accompanies starters, charcuterie, semi-hard cheese, fish dishes and white meats. Service temperature is essential, it must be between 10-12° to exalt the aromas and flavours featured by this bottle.
